I prefer this venue very much. theres a friendly atmosphere. The meals are exeptionaly good. the service is powerful and the crew is well trained. The price is modest. very much recommend.

Friendly faces and atmosphere to enjoy a delicious variety of asian cooking. Everything from the soups to grilled meats and salad bar/ sushi bar is prepared fresh and only with the best ingredients. Located right off of St.Jeans Blvd with plaza parking available.

Little overpriced compared to market. This would explain why the place was deserted on thursday evening. Food quality was ok. Desserts were limited. Food temperature was hot for the most part. No roast beef or pork.

Friendly staff, unfortunately, the food is not so good. Dried out from being under the heat lamps for who knows how long, hard and tasteless food. I would even go so far to say that this was the worst Chinese food buffet that we have been to. We were a group of seven at 6:00 p.m., and one of our group looked at the food buffet and declined to eat! Carpets were worn out and dirty, ceiling tiles were warped and stained, and don't ask about the washroom facilities, not good. I would give it a lower rating, but 1 is the lowest.

Place seriously needs updating, carpet, table tops and cutlery. Buffet food is just marginal at best - this with a new cook. Price is the only good thing. $18.50 for Saturday night.

It's Food. It's a standard Asian(esque) buffet. I will only pay for lunch at this location.More than enough room for your crew or fam! Fair selection of foods, Crispy spinach all day!

The price is about the same as any buffet, the people were nice. The food quantity/variety and quality isn't great. We didn't have many options to choose from and the taste wasn't really up to par. I was very disappointed, use to be one of my favorites when I was a kid.

The price is good like the other buffet Restaurant. The food is great. The staff are very nice their service is good compare to some other buffet in China Town.The staff removed your plate as soon as your finish and have a secound round. The owner is nice. There's a parking lot. They accept atm's or cash or credit cards. The place looks old and maybe the design of this Restaurant need's to be updated But it's Clean. There's a lot of choices and they can cook for you if you asked there's a corner there where you can pick the fresh ingredients. If you do appreciate a food then you can enjoy your meal here.

Extremely low quality with very very little selection. And this was for a Friday night outing. Definitely a waste of money!

Honestly, I love it there. The employees are nice and the food is great. They have a good selection of foods. At first I was a little scared that i'd be going and eating leftover food because other people had gotten there first but they make new fresh food once the pan starts running low. And if you're looking to just quickly grab some Chinese food they do takeout. I recommend coming here !

If you're in the mood for some quick chinese food look no further. I normally do carryout and it only takes 5-10 minutes for my order. Price is reasonable and food is pretty good.

Buffet looks like it offers leftovers reheated from last buffet for some of the dishes. Other dishes look gòod. A la carte menu good standard chinese fare. Waiter very helpful with suggestions.

Love this place..friendly, good food

Great food, lots of choices, sushi, fish, chicken, pork, pot stickers with peanut sauce. The owner is so kind, serves my elderly Mon right at the table, gets everything for her. Definitely going back

5 stats for great value, unlimited schrimps, wings and other staples for +-20$ is unbeatable. If you want better food you'll have to go to more expansive restaurants. The place could really use a refresher on the design as it feels outdated. Friendly staff.

Nice restaurant food is good

Sadly they've gone out of business and declared bankruptcy. I went today to get a #2 combo after multiple calls to make an order.

Food arrived after being delivered by the restaurant, bottom of the bag was soaked in gasoline. We were in disbelief when we realized what the smell was. Called restaurant and it took 40 mins for a driver to come back to "send the order back for replacement." Asked for a refund at that point, manager did not seem to care or want to offer any extra compensation. Very poor opinion of this restaurant now. Avoid.

Ordered from here for delivery & was not impressed with the food at all. The won ton soup was not good, the won tons were all falling apart & it was a bunch of little pieces in the water from it being in the liquid for so long. The ribs didn’t taste good, the general tao has no taste, and I also got a piece that was just plain disgusting , I had to stop eating it. It was also very tough .. I couldn’t cut it with my fork. Wouldn’t recommend & wont be ordering from here anymore

Ouffff ....... positive is that this is a cheap place. Below 20$ per adult and $10 for kids. Now, the food is below average. Selection is low. Food is cold. And above all, this place is simply unclean. Period. And washrooms are unheated (imagine). Im sorry but im still here and rating from the table. Awful. Avoid unless you are only aiming for a budget eat.

Very good prices. The buffet is quite varied with lots of choices but if restaurant is not full, food tends to sit for awhile. Great place to bring a hungry family. Service is excellent.

Is it fancy? No. Is it the best restaurant in Montreal? No. But for a twenty dollar buffet on a Saturday night, the variety was appreciated and select items were actually very good. For example the chicken wings and spare ribs. The service was also very friendly.

I don't know what happened to this place. I have eaten here before and the food was decent. I stopped for lunch and boy was I disappointed. I started with a bowl of wonton soup, tasteless. Next had the eggrolls, some of those breaded chicken balls that they try to pass off as pineapple chicken, dumplings, and rice, all tasteless. The worst were the fried chicken wings, totally tasteless. I called my doctor to make an appointment because I thought I was losing my sense of taste. At this point I was fed up and decided to get dessert, and once again, dry and tasteless. I can honestly say that the only thing that tasted normal or had any taste at all, was the water. I also noticed that they raised the price. The last time I was there, dinner was $17, but is now $18.50. Lunch went from $11 to $13. For what???

Asian older guy wearing black with receding hairline, Is just so crass and rude. I asked if there was chicken and he said in a rude way “you have to wait”. And he said “ELEVEN DOLLARS” in a super rude and snappy way when one of my older lady companions asked how much one of the food items was. Sir, just quit your job. Please dont take it out on your customers if you dont like your job or your restaurant is understaffed or youre underpaid. Your buffet is not even quality buffet, food is expensive for food that my weed smoking neighbor can make with ease.

Went there last night. Won’t be back. The General Tao got demoted to Private, Won Ton was wrong ton. Even my fortune cookie was missing a fortune. Now my stomachs is backflipping and I don’t want to be far from a bathroom . Thanks Shady Palace. 👎🤮

Spent over $40 for the worst food I've experienced in quite some time for dinner. The crab legs were old, not fresh. The garlic butter was not garlic butter but garlic oil. The white rice was under cooked. Can you imagine? A Chinese restaurant not cooking rice properly. Most dishes had an unusual amount of starch added to make it thick and look voluminous. The deserts were tasteless. The fruit was unripe. The only thing they had that couldn't be screwed was the peaches out of a can. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.

The worst restaurant I have been. The staffs are nice but the food is nothing but awful. Very EXPENSIVE low quality and disgusting food.

A old fashioned Chinese buffet restaurant. You can order a meal if you don't want the buffet. The food is authentic Chinese food made by Chinese chefs. Service is good. There is takeout with delivery or pickup.

This is no Mandarin for those of you from Ontario. The food is okay. The price for dinner buffet was extremely reasonable and a lot of people come in for buffet and take out. It was good but I wouldn't be returning.

I've been to this restaurant countless times over the last 30+ years and was really looking forward to the take out tonight. My whole family was so disappointed! The taste, quality and value is nowhere near what it used to be. The crispy ginger tasted more like flour batter than anything else. The egg rolls weren't crispy. The sesame beef tasted old, the spring rolls tasted like they were fried in old oil. We ordered extra so we could have leftovers for lunch tomorrow but instead we're throwing it in the garbage. I just hope we don't all get sick now. Unfortunately I won't be going back or ordering from there again.

Excellent many item Asian buffet, including sushi, at lunch and dinner. Reasonably priced, classic old school decor. Food is good and fresh. Friendly staff.

Food was fresh and great ! They are really quick to pick up your plate and they always make sure that you have water to drink. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend. My friend and I are to say the least very pleased with our experience. We will most certainly be going back soon.

The food has gotten much better recently compared to how it used to be. The food is not nearly as salty as before and the staff has also become much more friendly. The building could really use an update. The decor looks very dirty and run down. It's become decent Americanized Chinese food.

We were a large group and found the buffet food tasty and hot. The serving platters were replenished often. Chris was cooking wok meals to order in the buffet area.We all enjoyed the food. In case of allergies or food preferences, all the dishes are labeled. Some Young Guy was also on hand to help out as needed. The staff is very personable and professional. This was not my first visit and there will be many more to come.

Best Chinese food in the west island! I've been going here for the past 10 years and I absolutely love this place. The staff is friendly and funny, the food is fresh and delicious, and the prices are also very reasonable. Truly a hidden gem of the west island.

We went to this restaurant for our first time. We expected a normal chinese buffet. The service was very disorganized although we booked a reservation. The table cloths we seriously just garbage bags taped together. Everything on the buffet was labelled pork or didn’t have a label. The crabs legs tasted like an old wet sponge that you think they would us to clean the dishes but wait, the dishes were dirty! Everything was tasteless and bland except the over salted soup. The desserts were also terrible, the best option was jello. The only things good was the drinks and they were given to us in a can. Overall would not recommend unless you want an upset stomach. *three days later we’re still sick
